Here is a photo Gordon took from his balcony (we didn't have one) back the way we came.
Christmas lunch was a tad non-traditional!
Dinner was even more so:

Our new friend Gordon joined us for this but you aren't allowed to tell his family he had McDonalds for Christmas dinner.
Next day we left the hotel we had been staying at and headed for Villafranca. This was a nice walk but we had been scared off by Richard's (our english friend) description of the Albergue.
We arrived at 3:02 PM and the Albergue had a large dog sitting at the front door and it was closed! Maybe we could have waited for another 15 minutes to see if it would open but we pushed off to join Gordon at the hotel.
The hotel was amazing, I dubbed the shower The God Shower because if God had a shower it would be as good as this one!
We don't have any photos of the Boxing day walk so I will leave it to your imagination!
